Wife and I went there yesterday for brunch with high expectations after reading many positive reviews. Got there and had about a 15 min wait around 11am. Not too much seating inside, and while it felt a little cramped, it wasn't an issue. Started with aebelskivers (miniature puffed pancakes with powdered sugar) with lemon curd sauce drizzled on top. Nice, fluffy texture but I thought it was lacking taste. Got the ham, cheese, spinach and red pepper omelette, toast w/ honey, proscuitto and ricotta, and side of bacon. Omelette was good, the toast w/ proscuitto and ricotta was incredible, and bacon was delicate and crisp. Wife got the banana Nutella crepe and a side of grits. She enjoyed it.
But I think my favorite part of the meal was the coffee...apparently they serve French Truck coffee (which I can't recall ever having) and it was amazing. Going to pick up a bag at Whole Foods this week. Service was good, and although it was packed, we got our food in a timely manner. Definitely will return.

Sounds like they've ironed out some of the issues since they've opened. So is Tartine a lot better than Toast?

Haven't been to Toast yet, but went to Tartine about 3 weeks ago and it was really good.
