Never understood the beer in the shower thing. I get in the shower and clean myself.

Exactly.
A shower is as much about relaxing and winding down at the end of a day as it is about getting clean. A shower beer is the perfect end of the day.

I actually don't like doing it with a "good" beer but I always have a handful of highlife in the fridge along with a good beer, typically some sort of IPA.
I always go with the highlife for my shower beer

Shower beer is pretty awesome. Whether it's getting ready for a wild night or taking the edge off in the morning from the wild night before. Turn that water up high, get a nice steam going and drink that cool beer to refresh you.
Keep it up on the ledge so that water doesn't contaminate it. It's simple.
