Since all legless reptiles are protected by Virginia law, it is a violation to intentionally kill or harvest any snake. But...when a timber rattler is crossing the road in a residential neighborhood, and you "accidentally" run over him, that's not a violation. This one was a juvenile, about 15 inches long. I don't bother the "good" legless reptiles no matter where they are, but this timber rattler was in a residential area and could have nailed somebody's kid. He shoulda stayed up in Clinch Mountain and not come down to the road. And to think, he's probably got 15 or 20 brothers and sisters crawling around the area, too. Sorry, no pics. All my phone does is send/receive calls. Let the condemnations begin because I...DON'T...CARE.

Well, yeah, you can in a case like that. Case in point, neighbor was having trouble with a landowners cattle continually breaking through a wore out fence and destroying his garden. Told the cattle owner he was gonna shoot the next cow that he found in his garden. Cattle owner said, "You can't do that. It's against the law." Neighbor said, "You don't understand. Them cattle attackted me."

Cow, I can understand.

Rattle snake needs to die. Die fast and swift. Who the hell managed to get venomous snakes protected?

My mind is blown.

And yes... "I felt threatened and that my life was in danger. I had no choice except to discharge my firearm. I want to speak to a lawyer".

Learned that in my CCW course. I'm so glad that I live in LA in this particular case.

And I want to hear it.

Can't talk too long. I have to go to bed soon to support the illegals and mooches that I've been arguing over on the poli board all day.
