Has anyone here experienced Peter Island Beach Resort (BVI)?

We are taking a trip in November and enjoyed BVI and would like to explore further. Has anyone stayed at Peter Island Resort & Spa and if so what were your experiences?
Would you recommend a meal plan or not? I'm not big on inclusive plans but I believe the resort restaurants are the only ones on the island anyway.
We would be looking at 3-4 days at this resort and 3-4 days on Virgin Gorda. TIA for any information. I'm looking at Bitter End Yacht Club and a couple of others on Virgin Gorda.
