The Americans- binge catch up

So, I finally got around to catching up with the first two seasons after hearing about it. Wow, what an incredible show! Been up to the wee hours of the night this weekend because I couldn't stop...just one more episode...LOL. Highly recommend it to all.

I went through season one pretty quickly, but am currently bogged down halfway through season two. Think I lost interest.

I just caught up after Binge watching season 2 last week.
This part of the season finale bothered me. How does the Navy guy sneak up on Lizzy and that kid in the woods? Elizabeth is suppose to be highly trained in counter surveillance but she lets this dude waltz through the snow covered woods, wearing dark colored clothing, and he is able to get the jump on her?

Is this on Netflix? I have seasons 1-2 on my DVR but I haven't gotten around to watching yet. I've heard good things, just haven't had time.

I just couldn't get into this show. The first four episodes or so were good then it just got boring.
