Any fishing holes near Percy Quinn?

Going with the SO's family to Percy Quinn for the weekend of the 4th, and looks like the lake is still closed. Anyone have a heads up on some spots we can drive to and bank fish?

Lake Okhissa is about 30 minutes away on HWY 98 in Bude. The have some open areas where you can bank fish.
Percy Quinn is scheduled to be open for fishing in 2016-2017 last I heard.

I do know that Louisiana residents get hit hard by law enforcement and locals both. You'll get a few tickets for something and your tires will be flat. There are plenty of places to go fishing in Louisiana.

Okhissa is federal.They do not discriminate when writing tickets.The La residents seem to be on their best behavior when I have seen them at Lake Okhissa.

Oh I don't hate them. I just know how trashy they are. I've seen some bad areas in MS but south louisiana is trash capital of the world and it ain't close. I've been all over South America, Europe, and Asia. Still nothing like them. It a shame they are infesting MS and ruining our natural resources. Thank God private land owners started realizing this and no longer welcome LA residents.
