Park N Pole

They are strong as hell, they float, they can be used as a push pole and keep you where you need to be. Since they float, mine just stays in the anchor trolley, it never comes in the boat. If I'm fishing marsh, I don't even bring an anchor. These don't leave any mud or mess in the boat, they're great.

I need to actually take mine fishing to see how I want it set up. I don't understand how you guys get to the stuff way in back of you.

Carefully. And I spin and put my feet in the water so I'm not twisting all the way around.

My feet are always in the water. I also have scaled back what I bring out on the water. F bringing all that gear, I just stick to the basics.

Long arms and my yak is pretty stable. It's easy for me I get up and turn around and kneel on the seat.

This will be my plan. Especially if any of these arseholes actually take me to salt. Seems like I only throw a handful of baits when I go down there anyway.

stake out pole

I built one out of a 6' broom handle and 3/4 PVC T. I put end caps on the PVC and filled it with expanding foam but that's unnecessary. The wood floats, sanded one end down to a point. It works.

I would suggest an anchor trolley. I built one instead of using a kit, it cost me probably $5 more but I bought all better stainless hardware instead of the shitty kits I found that were mostly plastic.

Put a piece of pool noodle on your net or get a floating net

Fish grips are also your friend. I have a pair of cheap plastic ones that also float.

I don't like bringing a ton of gear, but I pretty much use all of it every trip, with the exception of the Fly Rod.

Medium Tackle Bag
Livewell
Depth Finder
Rope
Golden Rule
Beer Ice Chest
Mini Bluetooth Speaker
Aluminum Pliers
Net
Stake Out Pole
6 Rods
Fly Rod
Life Jacket

Cork with a hook for live bait
Carolina Rig
Top Dog
Redfish Spinner
