Weather may be ok, but water will be dirty as shite. May be fishable for reds, probably sol as far as trout are concerned.

My dad and I caught about 20-25 trout every morning on three day vacation
Two weeks ago. We just hopped around the islands on the backside of GI. Fishing the points. Caught them on TKO shrimp Glow/Chartreuse and natural colors

2 weeks ago is the last time i caught any decent amount of fish. Something strange is goin on. I dont know if its BP, late winter or just too much coastal erosion. But its bad

I really don't think it's related to BP

But that's just me. Cold weather and coastal loss IMO

Or i just suck at fishing too. I was weighing possibilities not just blaming bp. Apparently no one else ive talked to has been catching consistently either. Just sayin, somethin is way off from usual season here. Been fishing GI since i was 6 yo. Even my dad says he hasnt ever seen it like this.

I hear ya boss I think it has more to do with the unseasonably cold winter and wet summer

Big problem going on now is that there has been one hell of a wind out the south. That has pushed more salt water then normal for this time of the year. It' happening all along the coast.

I don't know much about inshore saltwater but most places freshwater along the coast the water has been dirty and high as giraffe poon
