Never heard of Michael Scotto, but it says he's an NBA columnist for SheridanHoops.

I wouldn't shed a tear if he left, but I think some of his defensive inadequacies (i.e., pick and roll) will be helped by Asik's presence. His offensive game is pretty respectable, I wouldn't mind him coming back for a year.

I like it. It'll give Russ Smith and Rivers assuming he remains here playing time. We are very crowded at the position as is already.

We got russ smith now too that's a much better defender and is actually cheaper.

This column could have been written the day he got his 41st start. They were never going to pay him 3 times his market value. Not getting the QO doesn't mean they won't resign him though.

I don't see how we can re-sign him either. His market value is going to be close to that of his QO.

I hope they don't re-sign him

If they trade Rivers they may, though.

You mean he won't be guarding All Star PGS for us next season?

So if we dont resign Roberts and trade Rivers (which I think is very likely) we just go with 2 PG's (Holiday and Smith)??

Tyreke can play some PG, and Sandy can too, in limited amounts. If Jrue is healthy he's probably going to play 34-36 minutes.

He's going to be valuable to someone's bench. His ability to handle the ball, shoot, and create his own show will allow him to receive a nice contract.

We have to remember that the guy is 28 years old and he'll be looking for his last pay day. His ability to get score on ball and off ball will make teams give him a serious look.
