Injury bug

It seems we've been pretty lucky lately in avoiding injuries. Besides Mettenberger last year, when was the last time we've had a player of significance go down? Not saying we don't need all of them, just one that really dealt a blow. I know we've had a few in before the season starts but they've mostly been unproven players if I recall correctly (Avery Peterson)
P.S. - I hope this doesn't jinx us
ETA: I guess i should have conditioned this on having a season like 2012 Missouri or 2013 Florida. We had injuries in 2012 but mostly saw someone else step up. We did finish 10-3.

First of all, I hate you for making this post, second of all, we lost 2 offensive lineman at one point in 2012.
In 2009, we lost Murphy, Scott and Keiland during the season.
We need some good karma to come our way.
In 2008 Perriloux got kicked off.
In 2009 we lost the first 3 string RBs during the season, a bad call in the Bama game, and Jefferson and Scott both got knocked out.
In 2010 JJ magically regressed horrendously to a RB behind center.
In 2011, we beat Bama at their house and then have to play them again in the NCG.
In 2012, we lose a shite ton of still eligible talent to the draft, Mathieu is dismissed before the season, Leslie doesn't become academically eligible to come to LSU, and our promising freshman Dural misses the whole season to an injury in the fall.
In 2013, we lose a ton of still eligible talent to the draft again putting is at an even greater disadvantage.
Where is the good juju damnt?
