What's a good recipe for a Bloody Mary? As far as type of mix, alcohol, etc.?

TIA

I like Zing Zang, a dollup of horseradish , garnish of your choice and vodka.

I use a good gin. Makes a fine Bloody Mary of epic taste. I like Whiskey Willie's mix. I don't add much to it. I garnish with pickled green beans, onions, olives, boiled shrimp, bacon strips, pickled okra and carrots, celery and sometimes a few capers. A little roasted jalapeño puréed and stirred in also adds a nice kick. A strip of jerky in them isn't bad either.

Bloody Maria... tequila instead of voda. ZingZang is the best mix. Add lemon rather than lime juice.

NO FACKING OLIVES!!

One quart V-8 and one quart tomato juice. Add a can of consomme and Worcestershire and Tabasco to taste. Garnish with a stick of celery and a lime wedge. Use cheap vodka because you can't tell the difference when it's mixed. I like this because it stands up to the vodka; you can make a strong drink without it turning watery.

This is what we do, sans horseradish. We do add a little worcestershire sauce though.

Mix it and add a celery stick or one of those pickled spicy green beans. Yum.

Almost exact except ratio, I do 2 parts vodka / 1 part Zing Zang and have to have olives.

Zing Zang mix is terrible. Use something like Whiskey Willy's or Gator Blood. Experiment with different garnishes. I like to add horseradish and sriracha.

Yep. If you can find Demitri's Bloody Mary Seasoning, use that instead of Worcestershire.

I've been wanting to try Demitri's for a while but I can never find it. I just added it to my Amazon wishlist though. It'll be added to my next order.

Gator blood is disgusting.

Zing zang is where it's at

I bought a bottle of Gator Blood once and was also very disappointed. I was told it was spicier than zing Zang, and it was, but the flavor was very lacking.
