Since only Altidore has missed time, that means the time used to treat Jones after ref clash, Jones and Bedoya after their run-in, and Dempsey's nose all counts towards our 6+ minutes. That doesn't seem quite right for the intention of the data.

From this, I see that France still sets the world standard, by far, for writhing time per injury, at 43.9 seconds.

Chart says how often each team suffered an appararent injury and how much time spent on the ground, you write amount of time spent faking injury.

EVERY time someone gets touched with close to enough force to put them on the ground, they writhe around like a little bitch.

Imagine if this were the case in football.... The games would last about a week and a half.

It already happens in football. Every sport people fake injuries to stop momentum or the clock.

EVERY American football fan exaggerates like a school girl.

Soccer fans hate diving too. It is a beautiful sport with a few blemishes.

That would suck considering how long it takes American football players to play just one play, because they are too fat to play without taking oxygen every five minutes.

You do know that none of our players have faked an injury yet, right?

It already takes 4 hours to play a 60 minute game.

Football should actually start using a stretcher like they do in soccer. Get those fat asses off the field and keep playing the game.

If you have to get stretchered off in a soccer game, you really should be forced to sit out for 5 minutes or something.

As I've said before, going to ground easily in a strategic attempt to win a penalty or free-kick is one thing, and I'm OK with it as long as it's not overused. But always grimacing and writhing on the ground in fake pain is ridiculous and should not be a part of the game. Sadly it's become instinctive for most players these days.

I agree, but 5 minutes might be to long. I would say 2-3 minutes.

So, let me get this straight...so if they suffer an ACTUAL injury, but continue to play, it doesn't count as a real injury? ie Dempsey breaking his nose?

Can the accuracy of that be confirmed? Seems like the totals should be higher.
