Most truly awkward moment on a date you've ever had

I went out of town on a date with a Tri-Delt my sophomore year. We were in Jackson going to a bar for the party. While it was a private party they still carded you if you wanted to drink. The girl I was with was a friend of friend. I just meet her that semester and didn't know her past history.
On the way in to the bar I asked her for her I.D. I thought it was a fake. It had this obese girl on it. I asked who is that fat girl? She very sternly informed me it was her. Who knew she had lost 100 lbs. I said oh that's great, I had no idea you used to be that big, congratulations on losing that much weight. She was not amused. God that was a long weekend. If it weren't for the fact that the band was Better than Ezra, I would have caught a Greyhound back to Oxford.

I assumed she was there to drink, so I was going to make fun of her fake I.D. Come to find out she was a holy roller who didn't drink and it was her real driver's license.
