America fights to make the world safe for same-sex marriage, transgenderism, feminism, etc.

At some point, does a culture cease being worth defending by those who are charged with defending it? Namely, heterosexual, young men. Why fight for a country and culture which blames you for everything, and promotes every one and everything at your expense?

Will traditional norms eventually win out? Will traditional cultures remain strong while America and the West devolve into decadence?

Is America on the "wrong side of history"?

I don't think America as a whole is on the wrong side of history. There is a culture war going on and that's not debatable. But with a compliant government and media in all forms, those of us who hold traditional value's will always be looked down on and ridiculed.

I dont believe that's true. I think the problem is that so many with traditional values think everyone else should adhere to them.

I was speaking in terms of the media. When was the last time you heard a major news outlet say it was hip to believe in traditional marriage? Or peacefully protest the government?

Last time I checked women, bisexuals, and gays served in the military and defended this country.

America is a degenerate society as evidenced by the culture it produces. Things are only going to get worse too.

Leave while you can.

Of course, "culture war" has been going on for thousands of years. It never ends.

Every society in history that has embraced where America is headed has imploded from within because of decadence. There is a reason why "virtue" is something that ancient cultures tried to cultivate. They knew that it was needed to make a society strong. We have disregarded those lessons and in our arrogance have come to believe that we are autonomous beings who can do whatever we want.

The debt accumulated because of a rejection of personal responsibility incarnated by the sexual revolution and breakdown of the family is what will do us in. America is less than 250 years old. We are still really young as a country and society, historically speaking. Our rise and fall have happened much faster than other empires. Spain is the closest example, perhaps, but even they had a good 300 year run.

Yes, America is on the wrong side of history. The pendullum will swing back because it has to. The direction that the West is going is unsustainable on every level socially. Our wealth and technology will protect us for a while, but then that will break down too.

Just my little opinion, though.

The sexual revolution in the 60s was a rejection of personal responsibility? I don't understand that.

What negatives did it bring?
His statement was that it represented a rejection of personal responsibility and I don't understand how he got to that conclusion.
