Tell me about it. I bought my LSU-Wisky tickets yesterday and now I wish I could just fast forward to August. I check the Rant several times a day eager for new info. Most of the time it's crap. Refresh. 30 min later: refresh. Damn July. I hate you. Sport Center is all baseball highlights. At least I have the World Cup. Trying desperately to care. As long as USA is still in it I have a thread of interest.

July is the month of hell. August brings preseason football and Tigers reporting for practice. Just have to make it through the slowest month of the year

July is usually dead with no football news so I'm glad I got into recruiting with some of the things coming up. Media days are right before the second half of July.

Man it seems like forever between seasons. Weekends just don't have that same luster as they do during football season. There's just something about having to rush home on the Saturdays I have to work until 2:00 to catch the pregame show, settle in with some snacks, and kick back in the couch that makes the weekend so much better

Is the band going to play neck this year?

That song is the greatest. I wish they played it during pregame.

Well get prepared for the worst threads of the year in July. It happens every year. Just go on Vacation and come back in August.

Not to mention World Cup this year.

I find July to be fine. August goes by agonizingly slow for me

Tour De France is so lame when an American isn't dominating, Wimbledon and the British are during work days until the weekend. The top guys in Wimbledon win in straight sets in early rounds too, nothing fun about that.

?!?!

All these new freshmen reporting to practice with practice reports, video, big cat video, etc?

I can't wait to see Fournette carrying the ball as a Tiger in practice and hear about how nasty he is.

I like having a month to not really care about sports for a little while. Between LSU football, Saints and LSU basketball and baseball, I need a break. And the Cubs haven't been good since 2008, so I don't have to worry about that either.
