Haven't been down in 30 years and sure a lot has changed. What are some good lunchtime spots?

Conoco gas station
Jo-Bob's, I mean you are on GI. Best food is in the camps. Starfish is pretty good, French bread cheeseburger poboy. Hurricane Hole is one of the only nice places on the island. Not very good for the price. Sureway has a dude doing BBQ on the weekend. And their thin crust pizza will work in a pinch. Bridgeside has some good breakfast biscuits. Back up in Leeville, Leeville seafood is solid. And in LaRose Harry's is the shite but I think they are closed right now.

World Famous. I'm pretty sure I have a menu in my glove box. All their food is great for a gas station.

Was just down there a few weeks ago.
Starfish and Jo-Bob's. Artie's too.
Jo-Bob's has good everything:
Pizza, burgers, fried chicken, cajun meat pies, and boudin balls.

Isn't the attraction there cooking at home? That's what we always did. Boils, fries, whatever.

Used to be called Toupsy's Cajun Eatery...not sure what it is now...but it's the restaurant upstairs at Moran's Marina. Used to make a damn good filet, seriously

Carmadelle's does good boiled seafood. It's a family place. They're great people and the food is good.

Moran's is awesome lol I ate there for New Year's with a buddy of mine. It can be depressing working out of Fourchon lol

I feel your pain. That's how I know about Toupsy's...spent 4 or 5 months in Fourchon for the spill back in 2010. Moran's and the truck stop buffet got really old, really quick.

Their crabs and shrimp are awesome, but their crawfish suck. I also prefer their live bait over the other places on the island.
Call ahead early if you want crabs b/c they run out.

Morans is better than anywhere on the island. Make the short drive to Fourchon
