My wife cuts them out.

Wait.....does that means she's cheating on me?!

Trashy, if it's grocery store coupons. I have used them, but I didn't like it.

My wife cuts them every Sunday afternoon. When I get in from work on Monday's she always shows me her receipt showing where she got like $300 worth of groceries for like $120.

On top of this where she buys groceries is now doing this promo where you get money off the price per gallon of gas depending on how much you spend at their store. Last week my wife filled up her Tahoe from an eighth of a tank and it cost her like $35.

Yes, I started using coupons when I got divorced and got stick with lots of credit card debt. After paying everything off, I had the coupon habit, which I still have today. I retired early and I'm not poor, by any means.

i wouldn't feel poor using them but its a lot of work. I did it when I was poor, now I just buy whatever I want and I don't care.

You laugh but I always face the dilemma of possibly using gift cards on a date.

I got a gift card to Bonefish last Christmas and I knew I'd never go there. Well, I took a date there one night because that's where she wanted to go and I had to talk myself out of using that giftcard.

Not the same as a coupon, but still a problem.

ETA: still have the gift card.

Used to use them. You can do really well with them, especially on the BOGO stuff Publix. It's a pain in the arse to do it right, though.
