What are your thoughts on the draft tonight? Any offseason storylines besides the hope of bringing Anthony in?

I'm covering them for the draft and I want to get the perspective from some fans

Posted this in the other thread:

Since Afflalo isn't an option, I'm guessing they make an all out push for Anthony. If they think they can keep both Gibson and Butler and get Anthony, then I think they use both draft picks and get players that can contribute.

If not, I think they attempt to trade the picks for money, or stash a player or 2 overseas.

PG seems to be a point of emphasis. Besides Melo and the Afflalo talk, that's been pretty much it.

Nikola Mirotic

Remember it.

I'm hoping teams are scared off by Nurkic so we can stash him overseas as well.

I'd add T.J. Warren and James Jones to that list.

So, they are going to amnesty Boozer? Is that a given now?

DJ. came in and really played well. Why has not he been offered. Offense seems to fit him very well.

Because Melo is the #1 priority.

I live in Lakeview and I love it. Less than half a mile to Wrigley and a block from the lake. Very dog-friendly area and tons of bars.
Was going to live in Gold Coast but the place I am at now had almost twice the room for the same price

Definitely want Chi to get payton, napier or hairston. Nikola will be a stud. A backup to rose and a scorer.

Hes priority after Melo IF the Bulls dont draft a PG.

Another issue is that no one really knows what his value is.

Hes like CJ Watson in that regard. Watson had 2 brilliant years in Chicago with Thibs, then fell off a cliff in Brooklyn and Indiana.

Thibs has a way with getting the best out of PGs.

I'm a big Hairston fan, I think he would be a solid backup pg. Not so high on Payton. I just think you want a better shooter coming off the bench

Forgot about him. Would be a great pick for the Bulls if they draft a PG. Either him or Napier.

Saw some highlights of Hairston in the D League and came away impressed. He did things he never did in Chapel Hill. I'd be down with him too.
