Changed the design? You can probably get granite drops cut cheap instead of the concrete...

Yea, was tryin to get around using morter. 3" concrete tops wont go anywhere. Granite is still a possibility

Do they prefab concrete countertops? I thought they were made on site?

I've never seen prefab. I know a guy who might have some in his shop. I'm sending him this thread

Thanks. I will happily pay for them if it is a reasonable price. I may end up having some granite cut and just having to morter them to the concrete.
This is what i am building....but the center section will be 1 concrete block wider.
I could replace the pillar tops with granite, but thought it would be more expensive and require more effort. Really didnt want to morter the blocks incase I needed to move it for some reaason.

24"x24", call Jim Stone and see if they have any stone that size. I got some flagstone that was close to that size and precut. It was real thick, at least 2"

Homedepot has 24"x24"x1" concrete pavers

What are you cooking first?

dont use mortar if you decide to stick it together.
Plain old clear silicone will get the job done and you can slice it free later if needed.

Or a construction adhesive just on the corners

it is a ceramic grill table.
i got a couple quotes on granite. unpolished is about 50% of the finished.... anywhere from $100 to $300.
That may be what i do. that adhesive silicone work from concrete to granite as well? that may be the ticket.
