HDTV and Soccer Matches...

Anyone else think having so many matches available in HD is helping soccer become more popular? A soccer match can be a bitch and a half to really enjoy in standard definition (hard to identify players, sometimes hard to even see the ball).
I think having more matches available in HD is making it much easier for newer fans to follow what's happening on the pitch and learn players names and faces.

Sports in general have been very good for HDTV and HDTV has been very good for sports.
