When I was a kid, I was convinced Santa Claus was real. That doesn't mean we need legislation protecting St. Nick.

I guess if a couple of clueless kids believe something that's been drummed into their heads since birth, it means the science is settled.

My 7th grade science teacher was a militant lesbian vegan who tried to sour all of us on eating meat, dairy, etc.

Of course, the reason she was a vegan was that she'd had a heart attack in her 20s, which is something damn near impossible without either a congenital defect or drug use.
