I don't have any legless reptile ID questions. We don't have any wild hawg problems here...yet. And I'm so far away from the major duck migration flyways that a wild duck of any kind around here is always of the Wrongway species. But we do have a lot of these: LINK This was filmed on Song Of The Mountains in Marion, Virginia and shown on PBS TV. These are some pickin friends of mine and we all get together twice a year for a big jam and reunion. Sure wish I could get my hands on a couple of those young wild hawgs yall throw away and smoke em for our get togethers here. (I'd love to be able to get my pickin folks together with yall's outdoors cookin folks for a big shindig.) If the administrators will allow it, I'll post this here instead of the other board. Yall are good folks and I think you will enjoy it more. TIA

good stuff BV, had my paw paw slippers tappin'.
yep, it'd be easier to bring the pickers and grinners down here than to bring the hogs up there. pack em up, don't let that bass player bite you.

Maybe yall could talk Willie and Jase into letting all of us use their big warehouse for a OB cookout and pickin shindig? Maybe even get on a float for the Bawcomville Christmas parade!

no need, I have a place.

Maybe even get on a float for the Bawcomville Christmas parade!

It is a possibility, OG, but it would take some planning and time to put it together and get everybody on the same page. Long haul from SW Virginia to Bawcomville. And none of us mountain folks are OB Ballers... To us, a big boat is a 16' lumnium flat bottom with a 50 horse on the back end.

I really hate to toot my horn too loud, but yeah, I'm sort of a big deal in the outside, outer suburbs, outside the city limits, outside of bawcomville.

Yeah, I had that in the back of my mind, too. Problem is most or a lot of us are already booked through October and beyond and our second annual jam/reunion here is always in October. Hard to plan something like what we're talking about less than a year out.
