In Houston for the game today, so I wanted to make the thread. Went to 3 games last year & was undefeated. Hopefully the streak continues!

BJ 8
La Stella 4
Freeman 3
Gattis 2
Heyward 9
Justin 7
CJ 5
Doumit DH
Simmons 6

Wood (5-6, 3.43 ERA) vs. McHugh (4-5, 2.76 ERA)

We don't have anyone better than our backup catcher to DH? Heck, throw Uggs out there and let him get a few AB's without having to play in the field. If we're keeping him on the roster then at least let him take a few swings at DH for all that money he's being paid.

That's what I was thinking. I mean it's a short porch in left. Maybe he can run into one.

It's incredible how thin we are honestly, I hope our minor league guys pan out, honestly we have 4 guys on our team that I can confidently say are better hitters than the average player at their position. I bet there is a saber metric out there to back me up.

Nah I wasn't counting him yet, too early to tell. Hopefully he will be though, seems like he will be

Damn straight I'm taunting your team.
We are going to kick you arse, assuming we can score some runs tonight. That and we get a good pitching performance

Exactly. Don't let him bat cleanup or anything, but it could look like:

La Stella 4
BJ 8
Freeman 3
Gattis 2
Heyward 9
Justin 7
Uggla DH
CJ 5
Simmons 6

shite, BJ accidentally put one in there last night. That HR swing in slow mo looked goofy as hell but he was still able to pull it.

Yeah, I have no idea why he plays so deep. He cuts off more balls, but then he throws them like shite to second anyways....gives up multiple doubles that should be singles. fricks up routine plays as well. the dude isnt a good defender.

Chip is the GOAT at making a flyout sound like a homer.
