According to a “help wanted” Request For Information (RFI) posted on FedBizOpps.gov, the feds were looking for vendors to help escort unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in JANUARY of this year.
quote:

provide on-demand escort services for non-criminal/non-delinquent unaccompanied alien children ages infant to 17 years of age, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year. Transport will be required for either category of UAC or individual juveniles, to include both male and female juveniles. There will be approximately 65,000 UAC in total: 25% local ground transport, 25% via ICE charter and 50% via commercial air.
Seems like the gov was ANTICIPATING the problem. I am impressed they were proactive instead of reactive.

Is this not worthy of discussion or am I missing something? Or is the source the problem?

I just find it hard to believe the government was ahead of the game on this issue. It seems more likely this action was required because the government orchestrated the whole deal.

I don't know about everyone else, but i'm worn out on all this. Nothing surprises me anymore. The R's are just as bad as the D's. The only thing we can do is start local and small. We can't change things by voting out pres/senators/representatives because the pipeline feeding them is filled with like minded sociopaths. We have to start with the school boards, city counicls, local governments to bring about reform. The truth is, it hasn't gotten bad enough for people to give a sh*t.

It's worthy of discussion, Dante. The only way I see to combat this is for the individual border states (and the states where these illegals are transported) fight the feds on the issue. It's disgusting how this is being done.

Baltimore MD, one of the bluest cities in America, said no thanks to brining them here.

My point is, this has only been in the news for about a month(children crossing the border alone) but the government was seeking transportation services well beforehand.

I am implying the government IS responsible for the increase in kids crossing the border.

I understand what you were saying. I agree that this was on purpose and encouraged. I was suggesting a solution for fightingthis because the fed law enforcement will not try to stop it.
