I use to care which type of light beer I drank... Now if Im gonna drink light beer I don't really care if it's coors, bud, natty, miller, etc. They all taste the damn same.

Wakeboarding. I used to go as often as I could, usually twice a week. Then I got hurt. Had a functional tear to my ACL which fortunately didn't require surgery and a contusion to my knee. Took rehab and about 8 months to recover.
Never cared about wakeboarding after that, took me over a year just to get back on the board. I since have gone numerous times but haven't attempted a single trick. I'd just rather surf and enjoy my time on the water now.

Subtle difference in the it was fun while it lasted thread. One of the fallacies of phd work is it drills into you the ability to pick up slight nuances in subject matter. This is something you cared for but no longer do, ie by your own volition. The fun while it lasted was out of your control.

Agreed, I just can't really enjoy video games too much by myself. I think a big part of that was my shitty laptop I had for the last 5 years that was too weak to do any games that I hadn't already been playing since I was a freshman in high school. Basically, if it's come out since 2006, I wasn't able to play it.
However, now, my roommate has a 360 with Skyrim and I still can't get into it. I guess having a gf really changed all that.

Agree they taste the same, but I used to be pretty open to any beer. But I've got white cans in the fridge, and I'll just skip having a beer until I get something better. Granted, if I'm on a boat or at a game I'll drink whatever, but for just hanging out, it's craft or nothing.

LSU football. I used to be very passionate about waking up early and tailgating til kickoff. Not so much these days. I guess I'm that way about college football in general.
