I started this thread earlier but I asked the wrong question.

Update: I tried VPN Unlimited for mac and it was clunky and meh. I'm just trying to find the best quality VPN for mac.

I purchased it as well. It works like shite on Windows 8. Not happy with it.

A good free service is Spotflux. It has worked better than PIA for me.

Sounds like you want the TOR client? Without more info, that's my best guess.

Google VPN for Mac. Read reviews and make decision. Wish I could be more helpful. I have the VPN on my PC, not my Mac.

That's my first thought as well (TOR = The Onion Relay).

The onion router, not relay. And tor is not what this dude needs or wants. Vpn is all you need

That's who I use. They have a pretty good reputation as far as I know.

I pay for PrivateInternetAccess, $40 a year with IP addresses available all over.

if you are using it to torrent, then you can't have a shared IP address. at least on the private sites.

maybe they changed, i saw it on "do not use this service" list when I went with feral hosting a few years ago as they had shared IP addresses.

I dropped feral due to horrible customer service, i had to reconfigure my VPN every few months and it was a giant pain. it did include a seedbox, which i really didn't need. I would love to get a new service which is more affordable.

The VPN I use has servers out of the country specifically for torrenting, but since I don't torrent, I don't know if it works.

its easy to find a VPN service that offers dedicated IPs, and not shared ones. Feral hosting, what hosting, and quite a few others offer it. You can actually use a shared IP address but its more work and will get you banned if you don't know what you are doing.

The one posted does not offer that feature.

Thanks. Yeah, I think this is a safer way to surf the webz. I'm not trying to go into the deepness of the web. Just want to add some stealthiness.
