I've been giving this show a lot of shite every time a thread has been started about it. But after watching the first episode I'm going to cool it. It has the same feel as the first season of Boy Meets World. It's not the greatest show on Earth but it's not terrible and has it's funny moments. I thought this would be a massive failure but I could see them getting a few seasons out of it.

It's on YouTube. Just type in Girl Meets World Episode 1. It's a little higher pitched that normal but the whole thing is there.

don't like cory teaching his daughter's class

i liked it, though. pretty solid first show. had some pieces of boy meets world humor and shite. not gonna be BMW, though, that much is certain.

Not bad. I'm pleasantly surprised. It does have a similar feel to the original. It'll never be as good but then again, it's not targeting me. I'm just a bonus nostalgic sucker viewer.

ETA: I do like newMinkus (Farkle)

Just watched it and enjoyed it, but Minkus' son Farkle was the weak point for me. Didn't find him funny and annoying

You can make this show into a good drinking game. Take a shot everytime there's a laugh track or whenever someone says the word "world".

So is the end supposed to imply that Feeney is dead?

My daughter can't wait to watch it..We've spent the last few months watching all of the old BMW so that she had a feel of what to expect

Yeah, it's at the end of the pilot but it makes seem as though he is Cory's guardian angel-type thing.

I still don't understand why grown arse men continue to discuss and review this show like: 1) it's made for them and 2) they're going to add it to their regular viewing schedule.

Yes, BMW was great and brings back a ton of nostalgic feelings and I might check out an episode just to see what it's about purely out of curiousity, but c'mon man.

This does not apply to people with children. That's understandable.

Some may scoff at this, but I accept Feeny's inclusion by any means necessary

So what should I watch Mr. Manley of all Manliness? It's a television show that has roots in a childhood favorite of ours. And it's actually not that bad. Get over yourself.

I mean, he went there... And it's wasn't exactly a bad school despite the TV image it upheld.

I watched it. Cory was the best part by far, but I was a child/teen of the 90's so biased. Why is Topanga such an after thought?
