Al Scramuzza's Seafood City was established in 1950, in 1994 the store was closed taking the authentic taste down with it ....or so we thought. The "Crawfish King" has decided to wait no longer to give his very own seafood boil recipe to fans and people alike to try at home. With his secret blend of herbs and spices it's now a guarantee that the greatest seafood seasoning in the world can live on forever.

Nah, he wants to leave a legacy, ya know - for posterity.

His "secret ingredient" must be one of the 9 spices cuz everything else is typical boil stuff.

That place is across from my Pho shop, I never checked it out before. Figured it was a bar for older folks.

7 gallons of water is too little IMO......for a sack I generally use 10 gallons and it's just enough to cover the crawfish.

7 gallons of water is good for a smallish sack (30-35lbs). I've done it a ton of times. It's just enough water to boil them in. I used to boil 1.5-1.75 sacks in 14 gallons of water just because I liked to have a little more water to cover them.
