Did two children just die on Bluff Road in Ascension Parish?

Latest update, several people were hit and two children dead.
Per WAFB Channel 9 news on TV as of 5:30 p.m.

Something definitely happened, there's a cop at the intersection of Bluff and Old Perkins. He won't let anybody turn down Bluff unless they are in one of the first couple of neighborhoods(Manchac Place, Fountain Hill, etc.).

I often see people on the side of the road fishing on both sides around the curve, just past Fountain Hill and across from a neighborhood that I can't remember the name right now.

That's the one. Very dangerous area to be fishing as cars are coming around the curve at a high rate of speed and have little time to react if not paying close attention to the road.

There's an older black dude who parks his truck on that embankment all the time and sits Down there fishing around this time of day.
