I hate it for him if he's banned from the rest of the WC, but he only has himself to blame..

I doubt there's any UEFA ban but, if say there was after all the publicity, it may help Liverpool keep him.
At very least, this latest freakout at another tense, high profile match has to have an Ancellotti or Luis Enrique further questioning how much they would want him out there in a heated CL knockout match.
