I don't know if this exists or not, but...
Have any of you guys ever seen a program that can go through a folder and it's subfolder and do an in-place compression of PDF and/or TIFF files without altering the file name, and preferably with minimal image quality issues ?
I am not looking for free software. We are willing to spend the money for the right product.

Use Ghostscript and create a script to automate the process. Pretty simple in Linux, never done it in Windows

This is honestly where I start googling looking for some trial version of programs.
VeryPDF jumped out at me as something that may help you.

Started doing that myself, but figured I would start a thread as well.
This one looks very promising.

I've used Nuance Paperport previously and it worked great.

Downloaded their desktop trial version and compressed a 42mb PDF down to 3.4mb.
There is a slight loss in fidelity, but someone probably wouldn't notice unless they were side by side.
