-The price on Mondays is silly good. 35.00 (Which is the same as webb 1 day before) is a great rate.
-The fairways were really good. Were't firm and fast, which is good. Thats how golf should be (firm greens and soft fairways)

Dislikes...
-The bunkers were awful, like they hadnt been touched in months.
-The back and front 9 have switched since I last played. Why do they keep switching. Now the split fairway is #9. It is a borderline travesty that the split fairway isnt 18. such a great finishing hole.

Lastly the greens... they weren't awful, but not championship quality that you would assume the Bluffs would offer. They had been top dressed which I dont mind at all. The cups havent been changed in a while. They rolled true but were slow. And some of the dead spots were still hanging around.

P.S. #17 was playing a smooth 232.

Pshhh
#2 at Atchafalaya sees your 232 and raises you 30 yards.

260 is the longest I ever played. Texarkana Golf Ranch. 3 wood to 8 feet, left the putt short

It doesnt mater tho... #5 Santa Maria (from the very back) is the hardest par 3 on the planet

I think I'd rather play this yardage than the tees I normally play at 170 ish

Nah son, #2 at the Snatch is tougher.
But that par 3 at the Bluffs is prettier.

Lots of places right now are leaving them a little fuzzy. If they cut them down, in this heat, they could be lost easily.

We're having the same problem at La Tour. Lakewood is the only place that is consistently fast as hell, not burned anywhere, and rolling true.

232 that plays 200. Also 18 non split tee is a much better finishing hole than the spilt tee. Mainly because of 17.

The original design was for the split fairway to be number 9.

IMO, I do agree that the split fairway is a great #18, but the big drop par 3 is a terrible #8. It is too nice of a hole to be wasted in the middle of the round. And it isn't like the par 5 up the hill is a bad 18.

My thinking is if a tourney comes down to the last hole for the championship, the split fairway is sooo much better to decide the winner.

Good luck man, have fun.

Take less than driver off the tee on 1.

Every par 3 at the Snatch is tougher than that par 3 at SM.

It played only around 205 or 210 Saturday. The tee was not near all the way back. That hole can play 230.

I think it was 208 on Saturday. The back of the tee box didn't look like it was in good enough shape to put it there.

Really surprised they didn't go with the back left pin on Sunday with the tees up.

I'm not kidding.

There isn't a par 3 at the Snatch that plays less than 220-230 from the tips.

MSU has one at 243, but only for tournaments. We'll play it from back there every now and then.

I believe "the snatch" is LaTour

The only other par 3 I've played that's as challenging as #5 at SM is #9 at TPC of LA
