So Saturday I was at work and at the time I was only walking and experienced a surge of pain in my left shoulder to the point that my shoulder just froze up and couldn't lift my arm. The pain lasted for about a minute or so and HURT LIKE HELL. Didn't happen again that day but had a lot of discomfort for remainder of Saturday and Sunday. Well today I had the surge of pain twice again and now experiencing more discomfort than before. Any opinions out there on what this could be?

Try not to fap so hard. Less shoulder, more wrist. Or better yet, get a partner to do it for you.

How old are you?

Could be a frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis).

Did it feel feverish? If the shoulder had fever could be just inflamed tendon from spurs in damaged cartilage rubbing.

Best way to find out....go see an actual doctor.

I think the chiropractor is gonna be my first stop. I'm hoping that will help with a few extra visits also.

Not a doc , but you could have torn your rotator cuff possibly. It could also be frozen shoulder, but that is much more common in middle age folks.
