animal cruelty at the livestock market

This video was supposedly shot in my home town of Hattiesburg, MS. I haven't been able to verify that yet but it really makes me want to become a vegetarian. That would never work. I just think it is unnecessary to treat even beasts of burden this way, even on their way to slaughter...

Have you ever moved livestock?

Some of that is not what it seems. For example, pigs squeal like hell even ANY time you make them do ANYTHING other than what they want.

Hitting that calf on the nose looks cruel (maybe it is) but short of a hot shot it's the best way to make it get up.

Go ahead and eatcha greens though. Me, I'm gonna have a ribeye.

No one ever looks out for the vegetable. All a vegetable wants to do is sit in the field and just grow and produce and some stupid/greedy farmer pulls its out of the ground or cuts it.

Didn't bother me, especially at the end of the clip "become a vegetarian". They don't think a carrot has feelings? Just more propaganda.
