I tried watching it last week, I think on Netflix. After 15 mins I decided the movie is better left as a fond memory from childhood

My kids are watching this for the first time. They're 5 and 7. I'll give their review after.

This movie ran at the dollar theatre by my house when I was growing up. I bet I saw it a hundred times that summer.

My kids are watching the end now. They are completely enthralled. I guess it still holds up. I'm surprised.

My adult self couldn't look past the issues that my child self didn't notice. And I soon realized how depressing it is although it didn't seem depressing as a kid.

Or was he in 3?
