Why do so many women mess with their lips?

I totally understand using botox to soften wrinkles to appear younger, but injecting the lips with dermal fillers rarely make a female look more attractive imho.

I do not like the labia lip look on a woman's face unless there is another woman's labia on her lips.

As people age, their lips thin out. Those young ladies still have pretty lips, though, so that's just crazy.
