Does anyone know what hotel the team will be staying at in Houston? Looking to book a place and looks like it's the Hyatt Regency downtown but just want to make sure. TIA and Geaux Tigers!

BearCrocs & Paul Allen - I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my question. As a fellow Tiger fan it means a lot that you took time out of your busy day to give me your opinion of a perfectly reasonable question.

Now, let this act as a bump for the morning crowd. I know there's another person out there willing to give me his or her thoughts. Anyone?

Why do people want to stay in the same hotel as the team?

josh336 - It's really pretty simple. The hotel the team stays at usually has a ton of fellow Tiger fans which is more fun to be around than a random hotel. I hope this clears up why I am wondering.

Thank you bwallcubfan and papz - great points. Now anyone have the answer? I'm pretty sure it's the Hyatt Regency downtown but want to confirm.

If you already know the answer to the question why are you asking?

screwstontier - If I knew the answer I would not ask the question. I said I'm pretty sure but not positive and I was just wondering if anyone knew for sure. I'm not sure why you are so interested in me but you're acting like the creepy one. If me asking the question is bothering you so much then maybe you should stop opening this thread. Thanks.

Rough crowd this morning. Take it easy on Drogba he just so badly wants Brad Kragthorpe's autograph the second he steps off the bus.

He said "pretty sure." Some of you have sticks up your asses. How is it creepy to stay in the same hotel as the team? How would an away game NOT be more fun doing this if you could? I've done both and it's definitely more fun being with the team and tons of other LSU fans for breakfast and hanging around the hotel when you are there.

ESPECIALLY the hotel bar. I've stayed at the team hotel before and run into Scooter Hobbs, Guilbeau, Nacho Albergamo, other ex-players as well as bunches of fans and of course player parents. I am friends with a former walk-on's parents and it definitely was fun to be at the team hotel.

Thanks MrJimBeam and Red Stick Tigress. Staying in the team hotel with tons of other Tiger Fans is much more fun than sitting at home by yourself screaming at the tv like screwstontiger will be doing. I on the other hand am looking forward to waking up in Houston on gameday in August and being around as many LSU fans as possible. Some people just like to be critical and that's fine, but I do feel sorry for them. I don't mind playing along with them if it means I get to fulfill their daily goal of trying to ruin someone else's day.
