You can hook a fish in the mouth, a gator in the stomach and no one cares. You can kill several animals with a bow and no one cares. But you kick one damn dog and everyone freaks out and they want you arrested..... This chit is getting out of hand... Dogs have the same rights as humans these days....SMH

disturb a bald eagle & you get-

quote:

increased civil penalties for violating provisions of the Act to a maximum fine of $5,000 or one year imprisonment with $10,000 or not more than two years in prison for a second conviction. Felony convictions carry a maximum fine of $250,000 or two years of imprisonment. The fine doubles for an organization. Rewards are provided for information leading to arrest and conviction for violation of the Act.

You're comparing highly evolved, bred, intelligent mammals that many scientists believe have a rudimentary theory of mind (ie consciousness)

Vs.

Prehistoric reptilian creatures with no pain receptors and a peanut sized brain that does little more than tell their heart to beat

If an anteater would bite bitches tring to get in my house then Id be trying to save them from the lions and shite.

ETA: if an armadillo could blood trail a deer me and that bitch would be best friends too.

That was an example, I could elaborate if you like. Granted, domesticated animals somehow deserve rights... I guess. But sending folk to jail for beating down a dog that was attacking them.... Making it illegal for dogs to ride in back of trucks.... This is freaking America!! Give me break...
