Just went week of 7/26....

Donut Hole just across the bridge going west towards Destin has amazing donuts and breakfasts( I'm not a carrot cake fan, though my friends said they had best ever eaten and massive potion....need to go early since they sell out of baked goods), the crab cake benedict was on point.

Mike Cafe & Oyster Bar has really good breakfasts as well......Had a great Soft Shell Crab Benedict.

Boars Head Restaurant and Tavern....

Dusty's has the best raw oysters hands down......No reservations and ridiculously long wait even at lunch. Gene's is really good as well...it's a ways from PCB though back towards Panama City....Cash only!!

Salty Sue's on HWY 98 has great sandwiches.....Get the Cuban and ask them to put the brisket on it.....May be on the menu now....ask for Pat the owner.

Over towards Rosemary Beach....George's at Alys Beach is amazingly good but expensive...worth a trip for sure.

Captain Anderson's @ Captain Anderson's Marina is legit.....had the largest piece of seared yellowfin I have ever had in a restaurant....very very good.....had a party of 10 and no one was disappointed.

Dat Cajun Place is owned by people from Houma and the food was good.....Boudin balls were great.

Bayou on the Beach was recommended by some friends who travel to NO often....Lafayette natives but did not make it there.

Being such a tourist town....there are plenty of choices that end up being touristy BS.

Ask a local you trust about the places they go!!

Have fun! Are you planning on doing any fishing...if so I can recommend some Captains.....e-mail me boodreaux@fishingfloridaradio.com

Captain Anderson's is the best.

Pompano's is also very good, very comparable to Louisiana Lagniappe in BR, and they actually have good sushi as well.

Captain Anderson's is great, as is Hamilton's.

Breakfast at Funland is badass too, and you can kick arse in arcade games to boot.

There is a really good small place on thomas drive called hognose snapper, its really good and about half the price of the touristy type places.
