Will always remember Devery catching the Brees-Johnny U record breaking pass. What a great career and great memories he brought us! Will always love Devery...

Played high school ball with Devery.. Grew up going to same elementary school.. Always a classy guy.. Only the senior football players got to go to his signing ceremony.. Good times.

Real gritty, Louisiana underdog signing class he was a part of. Not too many 4 and 5 star kinda guys. Just good, damn football players who busted their humps to get better.

As a lifelong lsu and saints fan Devery will always be one of my favorites. He was one of the best deep ball receivers in the NFL at one point in his career and I wouldn't have imagined he could have been that when he was drafted.

Everybody remembers Gleason's block (and rightfully so) but he also had the other touchdown in that return to the dome game on that little reverse play.

Maybe my memory is bad but didn't he break his arm on a TD catch in a 1-point win over Ole Miss in 2004?

Competed against him in HS. On the track, we competed for 2nd place b/c he was a fast mofo. Classy dude.

I always found that odd. He was definitely inconsistent catching in the NFL but seems like he was pretty good in college.
