Yes and invasive. Beautiful fish...I have kept many different kinds...it's a shame it's so invasive here tho. I heard it tasted good too but never tried it.

I just watched that bizarre foods show and he went to key west and went spear fishing and they shot a bunch. They had a competition to try to reduce their numbers. At the end they had them cooked all sorts of ways.

When I was in Panama for a stint I found a beach bar that would cook the fish and give you a free beer for every lionfish you brought in. I wore that deal out.
