my jack plate is a little too high and it just stopped working for whatever reason. Is there a way to loosen something to allow it to drop down a little bit? I can still run ok with the motor trimmed down but i would like to lower it some.

Will bring to shop nxt week to get it fixed.

All i noticed on it was an allen wrench screw on top next to where the power goes in where you can add fluid. This screw is stuck shut with corrosion. I oiled it up. Not sure what else i can do

CMC power lift. Below is the link to Manual.

CMC

EMERGENCY RELIEF VALVE
Your Power-Lift actuator features a emergency relief valve that will allow you to manually raise or lower the Power-Lift if it becomes necessary due to power loss or actuator malfunction. This emergency relief valve is a 1/4” hex screw head located at the bottom of the ac- tuator toward the port side (Fig. 34). Gradually turn the relief valve counter clockwise 1/2 to 1 full turn (NO MORE THAN 1 FULL TURN). This will allow you to manually raise or lower the Power-Lift.

CAUTION: IF THE POWER-LIFT IS IN THE UP POSITION WHEN IT BECOMES NECESSARY TO RELIEVE THE PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM, FIRST SUPPORT THE UNIT WITH A FLOOR JACK OR HOIST. THEN RE- LIEVE THE PRESSURE AND SLOWLY LOWER THE UNIT WITH THE FLOOR JACK OR HOIST. EXERCISE CAUTION TO AVOID IN- JURY.
