XBox One troubleshooting?

Guys, up until a few days ago my XBox One was rocking along just fine. I got it in late April so it's pretty new. The only game I have so far is Titanfall and just recently some of the visuals started blurring and certain items on the screen got distorted, similar to when you had a bad Nintendo game and the only thing that worked was to blow into the cartridge, haha.
I'm showing download speed of 57.42 Mbps, upload speed of 11.15, 0% packet loss, 1480 MTU and a latency of 76 ms. I don't know whether this is good or bad and didn't check it or know it offhand from a week ago when everything was running smoothly.
I'm also wired in, not wireless, have comcast and NAT type is open.
When I test my network and multiplayer connections all comes back as good to go.
I'm thinking this is just an in-game issue because I don't see any problems with visuals or lagging during Netflix streaming etc.
Any tricks to handle this?
Edited for a typo

That is a hardware issue. Does the machine have proper ventilation? Where is it located?
In a cabinet is BAD

Damn. It's in a cabinet. I'll get it out. Have I destroyed my xbox?
P.s. It's not a true cabinet, it's more like an open-faced, partially enclosed shelf
