Iron covers are for nerds! Ball retriever is a non issue. What is a chipper? Based on the fact that i don't know what it is, it's probably also for nerds.

I have a ball retriever, haven't bought a ball in years. I did have covers until I lost some, threw the rest away. So, I vote iron covers.

I have a chipper. I can do some amazing things with that club. Use it from 110 in and in sand.

Iron covers are middle

Ball retriever is least

Nothing wrong with a ball retriever IMO, though I don't have one

My order as well.

If I were to even try and use a chipper-like club, I'd just go with my hybrid. I couldn't give 1 of my 14 to a chipper.

ETA: Those MS St. guys ( I'd say high single digit HC) at Shell Landing were all WTF is that when I started using that club.
I had to use it a good bit playing the tips. By the turn their laughing had stopped. When they were digging in their wallets after the round one said I probably need to find one of those. I was

Things I rank higher than a chipper:

Playing in tennis shoes or any type of golf sandals/crocs etc

Having any type of golf equipment clipped to your belt

Zero friction or equivalent tees

Number one though:

Not having your belt match your shoes

Agreed, I started hitting full shots with this chipper by accident. I had two separate bouts with shanking wedges and had gotten to the point where I was terrified of a 100 in shot. Went to LaTour right after I got it one day and on the range I thought "Hmmm, lemme really hit this thing. Hey this is pretty nice." I'd say 100 yard shot went from a very weak part of my game to one of my strong points. Laugh away

I've had many very good golfers play with me and just shake their head at some of the shots I've hit with it.

37* Its not the two sided old man 1960 club its and Adam's A120S.

There's a couple of shots I can't use it on. 1. soft sand 2. Flop shot
3. If hardpan sometimes it will skip in and hit thin.

I got so scared of losing it and not finding another I went and bought a backup. I went to the Bluff's to play a round and the head flew off warming up. Ran to pro shop and had the guy glue it back on and played my round

I got 3 SM Vokeys in my garage. They gonna stay there

Yup, Mike gonna see it tomorrow if the head don't fly off. There was a shot at Shell Landing last weekend on #10. 85 yards with a slight helping wind. Chipper to 6 inches. Birdie and Skins to the Skuter. Ms St guys not happy

Playing in tennis shoes

I have played golf for 30 years and never once owned or used a pair of golf shoes...I don't see the problem. I can shoot between 90-100 no matter what footwear I am using...
