Got an old John Deer weedeater that runs great for 5-10 minutes then dies. Won't start up until I let it sit for about 15 min. Then starts up , but repeats same.

seafoam, carb, plug

I bought a Honda lawnmower from Home Depot that somebody brought back. It would not start. It was like $800 new and I got it for $300. I bought a new carburetor from K&D for around $25 and slapped it on there. It's been running for 2 years no prob. Maybe get another carb for the weedeater

have you tried opening the fuel cap after it dies? could be the vent line is clogged and it creates a vacuum after running it for a while, not letting fuel get sucked up the fuel line.

Fuel lines bad, broken or clogged. You running ethanol gas ? Easy replacement for under $5. May need to get new filter too and clean up tank & carb if gummed up. Should fix it though, and try to avoid ethanol if possible

Yep. Take out hoses and squeeze the rubber breakdown out of them
