I wonder what the new, impending revelations will be and who they will effect the most?
I have heard they may have to do with 2012 presidential race...of course, no clue how anyone could even speculate that....

I remember a few weeks back that there was supposedly a list of names that the NSA had spied on that was due to be released.
Depending on who is on that list, that could be the big one he is talking about.

Ellsberg's leaks weren't nearly as damaging to national security as these potentially could be. And he hid out for a while but eventually decided to face the music. I think he should have gotten 25 years. He also didn't abscond the country with some of this nation's most sensitive materials, pass them along to a vindictive co-conspirator (who also lives outside the country) and then take his message of openness and freedom to frickin Russia.

I agree he should have avoided directly perjuring himself, but that's as good as a yes. He had a responsibility to protect classified programs.

When an agency goes as rogue as the NSA has been going, Snowden's are inevitable and they SHOULD be inevitable.
The people they hire are still raised in an environment that naturally tells them that was bull shite. Bitching about how one of those individuals decides to out your bull shite is missing the ENTIRE point of who is AT FAULT in the first place.
Snowden exists 100% because of what the NSA was doing. The NSA bears SOLE RESPONSIBILITY for any consequences of Snowden's actions.
