This will be mostly pictures and not much commentary. I will say that sure, there are things that we could have done better but we were very happy overall. After walking God knows how many miles a day, you just wanted something decent to eat, nearby and some alcohol. Didn't really care about reviews and such. Also, there were a couple meals where I forgot pics. Shame because they were good. Like I said, satisfying hunger was a priority at that point. Here goes:

Compliments of Chef Axel Manes because he thought we were nice.

The French suck at war but they're tops when it comes to food.

You may be right but there really is nothing like our home cooking. We have it pretty good here. My first meal back was some crawfish etouffee that my mom made. It was so satisfying.

I actually wish we had more time to hit up more pastry shops.

Why is bread, all across Europe, so much better than here?

She had an article in the FN magazine recently about her favorite spots in Paris...one of them was this AWESOME bakery...I was practically drooling looking at the pastries .

It was an awesome experience. Loved being able to watch them work. I think Chef caught me trying to get pics of him so that might be why he stopped and talked to us. Didn't really talk to anyone else except for some party that walked in together. He obviously knew them. That was cool. Then the champagne appeared. It's was fruity champagne, which I'm not a fan of, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Everything was really, really good too. I'm pretty sure those potatoes are mostly butter with a touch of actual potato. Also didn't know lamb chops could come so small. The salmon and gazpacho may have been my favorites. Who knew mustard sorbet could be delicious? The first dessert was divine too.
