He will probably retire around the same time CPM does.

Bianco will neither come nor be asked. The bridge is burnt.

Mainieri is older than people think he is. He's a young 56.
Skip retired at 63. But he retired too early.

I didn't realize he was that young when he retired...damn shame...

Ya'll bitch about Maineri's inconsistency and recent lackluster result in Omaha, but people would want Bianco who has a history of shitting the bed in Supers?

No one in saying that.

I think Skip got out at the right time. He was financially secure and I really think his body was starting to give out on him. He really was at the point where he wasn't moving around too well.
Also, I think the types of kids that he was getting just weren't the type of kids who were going to buy into his way of coaching. I recall having some guys on his last couple of teams that I just didn't like to root for, like Matt Heath, Todd Linden, Bryan Moore, and others. I don't think Zeph Zinsman was really a "Skip" kind of guy. A couple of guys on his last couple of teams have said that most of the guys would just laugh at Skip's motivational shite and just go out and play anyway. Point being, I think Skip got out at the right time and was smart enough to know when to leave.

They had to play the Jeopardy song twice before he made it to the mound.

Turned it down 2 times, he's a rebel now.

I'll have to ask around regarding this. I had no idea we officially offered it to him

Back when y'all hired PM I believe he was y'alls first choice but he turned y'all down. That was the most stressed I've ever been about baseball because I was sure he was gone. He fits LSU's program and could be successful there. His personality is just like Skip's
