started watching these world cup games. soccer is some fun. very pretty game to watch like poetry in motion. like the team worktoo. def better than basketball and baseball. still might like football more, but soccer's lot of fun.

I find it shocking that one can put soccer over football...after watching it for 4 whole days.

Soccer is great btw, nobody hurt me

My point isn't which sport is best. What kind of sports fan could have a new favorite sport after watching a few games? It's certainly possible, I guess, but I can't ever imagine doing that.

World Cup is always intense. I can see it doing this to a few open minds.

I've watched a significant amount of soccer on a weekly basis for a year plus now and find it significantly more enjoyable than watching football. Maybe I'm just tired of the overly corporate and micromanaged nfl (I've been sick of cfb for years with the new spread offenses), but being able to watch a sport almost like a kid again without the 24 hr espn news cycle has been absolutely wonderful. I just really regret not being exposed more as a child because I think I have some athletic skills that would've translated to really enjoying it at a younger age. I'm planning to introduce my son to it at a young age and look forward to my knowledge of the game growing.

It took me a while to come around on soccer, but I immediately liked hockey better than football the first time I went to a game.

It took me a while too. I played at a young age before switching to baseball, but never really watched it. I love it now. Idk if I want my kid playing soccer because it seems so political(I'll let him play whatever he wants btw)(And I don't have any kids yet).

Guru, I can't get into hockey to save my life. I want to so much, but literally have no rooting interest for any team. Not even the lightning. Was almost a coyote fan at one point, but once i moved out if Tempe I didn't keep up. I have one hell of a time at games though.

45 plus minutes uninterrupted. No commercials during each half.

I cannot understate how nice this is for me.

I HATE Commercials.
