I like England - I could see a Uruguay implosion (not quite Spain level).

Hard not too. England looked really good at times against Italy, a far superior opponent to Costa Rica. If Costa Rica's speed gave Uruguay problems, imagine what Sterling and Sturridge are going to do to Uruguay's back 4. Although since Lugano's slow arse won't be playing Uruguay might be a bit more effective back there.

I'm pulling for England to go through their group. I think it's unlikely Uruguay can do it, and even if they did they certainly don't have what it takes to make another semifinal run.

I like them, but if you're British you are supposed to feel a certain disdain for the team. You don't root for them to win, you wait patiently for their eventual demise because you will NOT be fooled again.
